Mr Bennie van Zyl, TLU SA’s general manager, is currently in the intensive care unit after a heart attack and will undergo a vein bypass on Thursday.
“TLU SA’s general council and executive committee wish Bennie all the best and a speedy recovery. We also want to use the opportunity to ask the media and those concerned to respect Bennie and his family’s privacy at this time and to give him sufficient time for recovery and rest. We will keep all role players informed as necessary,” says Mr Henry Geldenhuys, TLU SA President.
Meanwhile, the media is requested to liaise with Mr Geldenhuys, Mr Wannie Scribante, TLU SA deputy president or Mrs Lynette du Plessis, regional manager regarding media enquiries.
