The new minimum wage for 2024 has been announced despite various opinions that the agricultural industry cannot absorb the increase. An 8.5% rise is simply not sustainable.
TLU SA launches a campaign today to empower farmers to, despite the new minimum wage, cultivate prosperity for their farms, not ideology.
TLU SA will present a workshop offering farmers free legal advice on Thursday, 29 February 2024 at 10:00. The LWO Employers’ Organisation will explain legislation and guidelines surrounding the minimum wage legislation.
To ensure that everyone can benefit from the free workshop, participants can attend at the TLU SA office in Pretoria or join online. The session will also be recorded and farmers can request the recording after the workshop.
Limit the impact of the new minimum wage on your farm, and attend the free legal advice workshop.
Registration can be done on the TLU SA website: https://www.tlu.co.za/en/cultivate-prosperity-not-ideology/
