KZN gives recognition

TLU SA Natal Region recently gave recognition to several members of the SAPS who are attached to a special task team for the investigation and combating of violent crimes in KZN.

The event was attended by Mr Henry Geldenhuys, President of TLU SA, management of TLU SA Natal region, various members of the farming community and media.

TLU SA Natal Region is aware of the excellent work that is being done by the group under the guidance of Brigadier Mbele, KZN Provincial Head Office. And it is with this in mind that the decision was made to say thank you.

Mr Mort Mortassagne, National Chairperson of TLU SA Security Committee, placed great emphasis on the importance of co-operation between the SAPS and agricultural organisations at security level.

“I would like to thank everyone who is here for your exceptional contribution in the investigation and combating of violent crime.”

Each member was honoured with a certificate of appreciation and a very appropriate trophy was presented to Brigadier Mbele and the commander of the task force.

“TLU SA Natal Region is of the opinion that recognition should be given where it belongs to people. This gesture is considered by us as an outreach to the SAPS for cooperation in the field of security,” said Mr. Ronnie Schilling, TLU SA Regional Manager: East and Natal.

Mr. Geldenhuys added: “It was a privilege to do the handover on behalf of TLU SA and the Natal region. We are grateful for the opportunity to say thank you to dedicated, positive SAPS members who do their job properly.”
